AUBRIE LAYNE
Professional Makeup Artist Aubrie Layne has enhanced the beauty of women all over the world for over two decades. Technically trained in advanced makeup artistry by Laura Mercier, she has worked in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, including Paris, London, Houston, Miami, and New York Fashion Weeks. Aubrie has made her mark in the beauty industry thanks to her tireless work ethic and intense passion for what she does. She also accredits much of her success to many of the strong women who mentored her throughout her career and instilled in her a pay it forward mentality which is the heartbeat of her business.

A native Houstonian, Aubrie has built a loyal following while creating her own brand of faux lashes and cosmetics. When she's not seeing her clients at the Lucky Cat Beauty Studio, she's taping segments for local television stations, on location for photo shoots, ad campaigns or with one of her many blushing brides.

In addition to creating her own beauty brand, Aubrie is a brand ambassador and distributor of Balmain Hair Couture, The BrowGal, Ellis Faas Cosmetics, and The Makeup Light, all available in studio or online. In 2015, Aubrie was honored as the Arthritis Foundations Adult Honoree for her work with the auto immune disease community. She loves mentoring and inspiring youths in her community.
THE BRAND
LUCKY CAT BEAUTY
A creative problem solver and entrepreneur at heart, Aubrie launched Lucky Cat Beauty, her line of eco-chic faux lashes in the spring of 2015 after years of being frustrated with the faux lashes available on the market. She spent months researching the best manufacturers, custom designing her signature lash styles, and developing easy to use packaging. Used by makeup artists around the world, Lucky Cat Beauty lashes quickly became a fan favorite and she knew she needed to develop more, expanding into cosmetic products later that same year. The Lucky Cat Beauty brand now includes a wide range of products and formulas straight from Aubrie's professional makeup kit.
THE STUDIO
LUCKY CAT BEAUTY STUDIO
Aubrie's highly skilled artistry technique can be experienced at the Lucky Cat Beauty studio in the galleria area of Houston, Texas. By appointment only, Aubrie sees clients several days a week for brow grooming, special event makeup, one-on-one lessons, and personal beauty shopping. Appointments are available online.
